As was the case during the 2006 World Cup, TROX is represented with various products in numerous stadiums in South Africa during this year's World Cup. The high numbers of visitors call for very high safety, air conditioning, and acoustic standards as stadiums and multifunction arenas are particularly demanding structures.

Due to the worldwide energy shortage and ongoing discussions about the climate, increasingly energy-efficient solutions in the area of heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology are also in demand in South Africa. Thanks to innovative solutions, TROX was able to meet these requirements with its components and systems.

Almost the entire product range of TROX can be found in six of the ten World Cup stadiums, which means that TROX contributes to the safety and comfort of the teams and spectators throughout the entire World Cup.

Whilst the product variety of air diffusers ranges from filter elements to central air handling units for the new construction of the "Moses Mabhida Stadium" in Durban, for example, TROX products were also selected for renovations. In the case of the "Soccer City" stadium in Johannesburg where the final game will take place, external weather louvres, grilles, and non-return dampers were used.
