To assure safe laboratory work, especially during the use of laboratory outlets during tests with hazardous materials, the observation of ventilation safety regulations is essential. LABCONTROL is a system solution permitting an individual adaptation to the requirements of the individual laboratory rooms. The safety requirements of the atmospheric environment are regulated and monitored by the LABCONTROL system. On the field bus level, the digital "TCU-LON" regulators use the LON records. The flow rate controller of all laboratory outlets and rooms can be monitored by a central building control system (GLT). The LON compatible peripheral devices such as movement alarms, temperature regulators, etc., can also be integrated. This solution therefore replaces numerous other individual decentralised systems.
